Not sure that I want a George Foreman in my bedroom. And though I love bacon, I don't think I want it to greet me fresh out of slumber. I like to wake up because the sun is bright enough to shine through my closed eyelids. I like to wake up to the smell of coffee. I like to wake up to the sound of rain on my window.

Quiet. No alarm, kids still sleeping, a chance to talk to God for a few minutes before everything takes off for the day.
Or birds. I love this time of year when it's warm enough to leave the windows open at night. Then I can wake up to the chatter of robins, the cooing of mourning doves, and the busyness of woodpeckers.

I love waking up when you're camping and you can hear birds and more birds...the sun peeping through your tent...the smell of the fire if someone else is up before you!
